So you have decided to date online, just remember it is a numbers game. You will have to kiss or date a lot of frogs before you find the prince or princess of your dreams.

So how do you make the search more productive and worth while, and how do you get to be picked by other people.
1. Be honest about who you are and what you want.
2. Put up a picture, a nice head and shoulders shot that you would not be afraid for your mum to see. Pick people with pictures in there profiles, if they are prepared to put a picture in there profile then they are prepared for the world to know they are serious about dating online.
3.Meet your date sooner rather than later down the internet dating highway if you are going to date online pick people who live near you or work out how far you are prepared to travel to meet up with someone for date. People can seem different in real life then online and it is good to find this out early and work out if they are worth pursuing or just letting go.
4. First date should be just for coffee, you can always extent a date if you both just want to talk or it is love at first sight, but if it is just coffee it gives you an out if the date goes wrong or the person is just not right in some way.
5.Trust your insticts if the date doesn't feel right then it probably isn't.
6. Be thoughtful and respectful, don't talk about you all the time. Listen to what your date has to say.
7. Don't sleep with someone on the first date,I like to take my time and think about what the first date was like and if I really do want to see them again. Sleeping with them changes the focus and it makes it easier to miss someones faults or those red flags when you are blinded by lust.
8. Don't waste peoples time, if they are not right for you say so and move on.
